Good News; The Filipino Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches was now in new relationship with the Convergence Church Philippines entered in Full Communion with the CCP. Pray for this exciting union of FCEEC with the CCP / ACPT will prosper that their love for Christ will hold and bond them together serve better to both their churches and missions.
The former FCEEC is now received by the CCP and totally under the oversight of the Most Reverend FREDERICK LUIS M. BELMONTE who is also the Archbishop of the Anglican Church in the Philippines (Traditional)
The event took place after Archbishop Belmonte revived their former communion with FCEEC.
After the death of the former overseer of the FCEEC which is the late Archbishop Benedicto Carantes and Bishop Thomas Darkus (Bishop Emeritus) in which Abp. Belmonte was one of the consecrator of Abp. Benedicto Carantes.
The widowed of the late Abp. Carantes decided that the FCEEC after sometime been dormant and closed with no one want interested to lead and continue with the mission for the FCEEC, since Abp. Belmonte was in communion formerly with the FCEEC was chosen and agreed upon to lead and provided the new oversight for the FCEEC.
Now the FCEEC with its churches are Now in Full-communion with the Convergence Church Philippines and now part of the ACPT under the oversight of Abp. Frederick Luis M. Belmonte.
